Adjusting the Height

Adjust the height of the Hugo Rolling Walker to a level that allows you to maintain good posture and be comfortable. First, you stand just behind the medical walker with your hands and arms relaxed at your sides with both feet aligned with the walker’s rear wheels. Adjust the height of the handles and put them at level with your hips. When gripping the handles, the arms must be somewhat bent at the elbows at about 25 degrees.

Using the Hugo Walker

When using the Hugo Rolling Walker for the first time, lock first the brake. Stand, balance yourself and then hold the grips. Unlock the brake and then push the walker forward slowly and steadily. The rear wheels should be a few inches ahead of you.

Make your steps as you maintain a comfortable pace, placing each foot forward one after the other in line with the rear wheels. When you stop, lock the brake to make you stable and safe.  

Before sitting on the Hugo Rolling Walker, lock the brake to stabilize the walker as you sit down and to prevent a fall in case you stumble or falter.
